Vietnam Delights (14 days)![]() GaleryClick in the image and see full image of galery. Day 1: Hanoi ArrivalWe will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to hotel. The rest of day is free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi. Day 2: Hanoi Sight-seeing & Cooking Class – Hanoi Street Food (B, L, D)You have “busy” day today with great activities. Morning, the guide will help you to discover can’t-missed sights in Hanoi like the Literature of Temple then walking around the colorful local market to learn about typical ingredient in the North Vietnam… Settle down cooking center to joining cooking class from 11 – 14:00. You prepare, cook, and feast with some Hanoi’s specialties - traditional Vietnamese food 14:00 Riding around the Westlake take overview the most beautiful but not touristy area in Hanoi then go to Mo village – famous with tofu produce, talking with producer, try to make some tofu and of course, enjoy some hot product dishes. Joining & talking with local farmers who we meet in field at the bank of Red River then admire the sunset from Long Bien Bridge will be fabulous. Dinner today with some Hanoi street food and local drink (Bia Hoi, Vietnamese tea, coffee…) Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)After breakfast, depart to gorgeous Halong Bay by shuttle bus where we will get on a cruise boat and head to Cua Van floating village. Here we see fishers living on the water and take a small boat around the village. The chef will take you through a cooking demonstration aboard then taste with drink flow. Overnight on board. Day 4: Ha Long - Hanoi (B, L, D)Breakfast on board then visit Amazing cave. Brunch will be served on board. Transfer from Ha Long Bay to Hanoi after lunch, check in hotel on arrival for relax and free at your leisure to do shopping & walking around to explore the peaceful Hanoi. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi. Day 5: Hanoi Home Cooking - Hue (B, L)Have breakfast then check out hotel for driving 20km to Hanoi Suburb, a scenic hour-long drive brings you to the charming village of Van Giang. Learn the basics of preparing refreshing and nuanced Vietnamese dishes from the rural residents of the Red River Delta. You go with host to the countryside local market, buying ingredient, prepare, cook then enjoy the lunch with local family. Day 6: Hue Cycling – Cooking Class (B, L)Morning, strolling in local market for enjoying breakfast in local style, chatting with producers… then transfer to Garden House to discover the hospitality of Hue’s people by joining cooking class in the ancient house. Optional: Transfer by car instead of by bike. Day 7: Hue – Da Nang - Hoi An Dinner Cruise (B, L, D)Morning, transfer to Hoian via Danang. Optional stop on the way to visit Marble Mountain. Check in hotel on arrival Hoi An. Lunch today in Tam Tam restaurant in Hoi An Day 8: Hoi An Cycling tour & Hands-on Cooking Class (B, L)Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then take a half-day cycling and hand-on cooking tour. This class is designed for those wanting a practical, hands-on, gourmet experience. The tour start with biking to the herb gardens of Tra Que Village and a talk on the art of Vietnamese gastronomy, vegetables, herbs & spices and how to prepare and use them. The practical session comprises cooking & cutting techniques. The recipes are provided for you to take home. Day 9: Hoi An E-co tour (B, L)This morning we meet for an eco fishing tour-chug around the river system and learn to row a round boat. We throw some net and the boys on board will cook us lunch. It is the time to discover local life in water. Afternoon will be free at your leisure and shopping. Overnight in Hoi An Day 10: Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon – Private Home Demonstration Cooking (B, L, D)Morning transfer to Da Nang for catching flight to Ho Chi Minh City. After check in, we will get some lunch locally and then we will set off on a half-day tour including the Ben Thanh markets, Cho Lon and the Notre Dame (great Vietnamese coffee in the park opposite with the students). Demonstration dinner tonight at private home. This is great as you get to experience a local’s cooking techniques in her home as well as a chance for you to recognize the different between the life in Hanoi (North Vietnam) and the life in Ho Chi Minh City (South of Vietnam). Overnight at the hotel in Saigon Day 11: Saigon Cooking Class (B, L, D)We take half day cooking class in the morning. Firstly, visit colorful and vibrant Ben Thanh market with chef for buying ingredients for cooking. We cook and tasty 3 main courses with flow Tra Da and water. Afternoon, free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Saigon. Optional take Saigon Foodie Adventure tour from 17:00 – 20:00 Day 12: Saigon – Mekong Delta (B, L, D)This two day tour offers you a striking opportunity to capture an essence of Mekong Delta: its verdant landscape, friendly people and fantastic cuisine. It is ideal for those with limited time. Depart from Ho chi Minh city with private transfer and arrive at Cai Be around noon, welcomed at Cai Be harbor and transfer to Mekong Lodge after a scenic boat trip. Check-in your private bungalows. Lunch is served in nice River View restaurant with the special day menu Day 13: Mekong Delta – Saigon (B, L)Buffet breakfast in the restaurant. Early morning boat trip to visit Cai Be floating market. Walking or cycling around Mekong Lodge and the island. Visit a fruit orchard, chatting and joining garden work with the host (watering vegetables), freely picking and tasting mango, rambutan, longan… Day 14: Saigon Departure (B)Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then free at your leisure until transfer to the airport for departure.
