Sour So Dua flowers soup

Sour So Dua flowers soupThis is a population food of Vietnam, with ingredients in Vietnam countryside, cheap and easily available

Ingredients:

  • 100gram so dua flowers
  • 2 big perch fish ( about 600 gram/ fish),
  • 1 tomato
  • 100 gram sprouts
  • 1 Vat me
  • Rau om and Mui tau
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Sauce, salt, sugar

Preparation:

  • So dua flowers, remove pistil, clean and drain
  • Perch fish clear with salt.
  • Vat me make Vat me juice
  • Rau om and Mui tau chop

How to cook:

  • Boiling 1L soup, put perch fish in, with medium heat.
  • Then pour sauce, salt, sugar,  and tamarind juice.
  • When fish is has just cooked, put tomato, So dua flowers in. Wait for soup is boiled again, put sprout, rau Om, Mui tau, sliced pepper in then turn off  stove.
  • Fry chopped garlic and put on soup.

Enjoy:

  • Pout soup in bowl, display with pepper and pure sauce.
  • Enjoy with rice or Bun.
