Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Night Gourmet Adventure (D)

We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to hotel. Check in hotel on arrival for relax and relax and prepare energy for late afternoon street food. We will celebrating your first dinner in Vietnam with amazing Hanoi street food. You will taste and drink according to local way, it must be great starting for your memorable time in Vietnam. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi Cooking Class & City Tour (B, L)

Today, the combination by visiting some can’t missed attraction in Hanoi and take part in great hand-on cooking class for some Hanoi traditional food would be uniquely. You will have great experience full off Hanoi; from the ancient Hanoi with nostalgic people in the Old Quarter to graceful Hanoi with French Quarter and elite Hanoi with amazing food.
After enjoy your cook at the center, you will continue to discover Hanoi’s beauties then stop to admire the sunset on the river that is really the moment to soak up the sights, sounds, and smells of Hanoi.
Trip end at your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Home Demonstration Cooking - Ha Long (B, L)

08:00 Car and guide pick up at the hotel to Van Giang village, it is about 25km from Hanoi centre. On arrival the village, walking under lane trees with host to local market – that is very typical for market for countryside to buy some ingredient for cooking. Walking through the village back to old house, visit the vegetable garden to take some ingredient for our cooking with host. You prepare, you cook then feast the lunch with host.
After cozy lunch with host, driving to Ha Long Bay. Check in hotel on arrival Ha Long city for relax and leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ha Long City.

Home demonstration with market outing from 09:30 – 13:30

Day 4: Ha Long Cooking Cruise – Ha Noi (B, L)

After breakfast at hotel, you’re off to the nearby the bridge and into Hon Gai to visit the local outdoor seafood markets. Here you see how the daily fresh fish and huge variety of ‘weird & wonderful’ seafood is landed and sold daily from the hundreds of small bamboo fishing boats fishing the Bay’s waters. Walking through the indoor & outdoor markets for as long as you like, buying some ingredient for our cooking. It is cultural, real-life, safe, friendly, amusing, traditional and great photographic opportunities here.
Driving back Ha Long harbor for boarding private heritage style Asian junk .Together with chef, you will take a demonstration cooking on sun-desk for lunch. You prepare, cook and enjoy the lunch under blue sky in mystical landscape of limestone’s islets. Admire the magnificent views and enjoying great food while relaxing cruise with excellent backdrop all along the way is breathtaking and definitely a great way to chill out before heading to the Ha Long Bay.
Disembarkation the junk for driving back Hanoi. Free at your leisure and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Hue (B, D)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel then take morning flight to Hue. The guide welcomes you at Hue airport to process to hotel in Hue for check in procedure and relax.
Afternoon, take a half day discover Hue Imperial Citadel then take a boat trip in Perfume River to Minh Mang Tomb and also admire beautiful sunset from the peaceful Thien Mu pagoda. Welcome dinner today with Hue’s specialties.

Day 6: Hue Cooking Class – Hoi An Dining Cruise (B, L, D)

We will start our day to discover Hue’s soul at the garden house – the typical house in Hue to feeling the Hue moment through tranquility atmosphere, bird singing and blooming flowers, beautiful smell surrounding….
09:00 we will take a walk in local market to learn about Hue’s cuisine and ingredient, we also buy some material for our cooking.
We then transfer to gorgeous hidden gem in Hue for cooking class. A funny and interesting cooking at garden among local people, we cook and feast great Hue’s specialty dishes for lunch.
Afternoon, driving to Hoi An through picturesque scenic Cloudy Pass, Lang Co Beach… On arrival Hoi An, check in and refresh.
Late afternoon, embarkation the boat for marvelous cruise on Thu Bon River, viewing the sunset, demos cooking, taste great food with drink follow. Disembarkation the boat for your free walking around colorful town. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An Cooking Class (B, L)

We start the cooking class with visit Tra Que Organic Village, and walk through the market gardens to learn and talk with the local farmers who are still doing the farm work following traditional methods of hundreds of years ago - no electrical machinery here! We purchase a range of local ingredients; star anise, cardamom, sesame rice paper, water spinach and banana flower… for our cooking later.
Hands-on cooking class at Red Bridge Cooking School, together with chef, we learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food from scratch. We learn how to using the freshest ingredients and traditional Vietnamese utensils, how to cook four Vietnam traditional dishes.Sit down, talking with chef while savour the dishes we have prepared.
Leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River back to central Hoi An. The rest day free at your leisure to explore the Ancient Hoi An Town, shopping….

Day 8: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh – Dinner Cruise (B, D)

You will be free to shopping until transfer to Da Nang airport to catch flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Pick up on arrival the airport for transferring hotel to check in. Free at your leisure and relax. Welcome dinner today with dining cruise in Saigon River.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Home Demonstration Cooking (B, L)

We have special day with local people! The guide picks you from hotel to transfer outside Ho Chi Minh center to local house. Our host – Ms Nghia will welcome you as her friends then together with host, you go to open-air market to buy some ingredient for our lunch at local home today. It is actually not a cooking class, it seems you visit your Vietnamese friend and have lunch with them. Your thoughtful “friend” will help you cook some Vietnamese traditional dishes, sharing her cooking experience and introduce you will her neighbors, friendly venders at the market…. Of course, you will have very cozy lunch with her family.
Afternoon is your choice, you can continue to visit Cu Chi Tunnel, taking city tour or just free for your own exploring.

Home demonstration cooking with market outing 09:00 – 13:30

Day 10: Mekong Delta – Saigon Street Food (B, L, D)

Early breakfast at hotel then followed by an all day tour to Mekong Delta at 07:00.Embarkation the boat to cruise in the river for a look about the floating village and life from the water. We then go to local family home far from the typical tour routes to prepare lunch with local and see how the average Vietnamese family cooks and eats. This is rural and rustic and you will join the daily life of rural Vietnamese families in Mekong Delta. Return to Ho Chi Minh center, you have time to refresh before take a foodie night adventure for your dinner with authentic Ho Chi Minh street food. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.

• Deposit and Payment: 30% of total invoice should be deposit at the time of booking for guarantee. Final payment is no later than 7days in advance of arrival date.
• Cancellation: If cancelling less than 15 days, the deposit is non-refundable. After final payment is received a cancellation fee of approximately 75% applies. This percentage may be less depending on the date of cancellation. A cancellation fee of 100% is applicable within 03 days of travel.
• Pricing: All prices are shown in American dollars and are current at the date of printing this itinerary. If there is a dramatic fluctuation in the exchange rate or the price of services provided, which are beyond the control of Vietnam Food Tour, VFT reserves the right to adjust tour prices accordingly, even though the balance of payment may have been made. This would only happen in unusual circumstances.

• Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend you organize travel insurance before departure in your country. Insurance covers cancellation fees payable for airline tickets, accommodation, loss of deposit, luggage etc.
• Clients’ Responsibilities: It is your responsibility to obtain passports, health certificates or other travel documents where required for the tour.
