Lotus is the national flower of Vietnam with beautiful color and good smell. It's the symbol of elegant, althought grow up in mud but it's still keep its beauty. As you know the most famous product is made by lotus is lotus tea from the flower, it's root also a good ingredient to make salad or for the fried food.

To day, i show you the recipe to cook beef with lostus root, maybe you will be surprise coz many people think it's can not be.

Now time to cook!

Ingredient:

  • 300 gram fillet beef
  • 200 gram lotus root
  • Green onion
  • Garlic: 1 garlic
  • 1 red, green and dried pepper
  • 1 smaill piece pine apple
  • Spice, cooking oil, pepper powder, oyster sauce, cornstarch, black vinegar

Method

  1. Prepare: Beef cut into large pieces, crushed like steak, then laced a little spices, oyster, the pineapple crush to take pineapple juice ( you should pour pineapple juice before fry beef about 10 minutes, beef will be rag if pour in earlier ). After that, cut beefs into smaller pieces. Lotus root is peeled and slice as rhombic. Green pepper cut into pieces, slice dried pepper and remove seeds, slice garlics, green pepper and red pepper dice thin.
  2. Boil cooking oil then put beefs into pan, fry ( note that don’t fry too long time, the fried beefs will be dry), take beefs out and drain.
  3. Put the clean pan on stove, pour a little cooking oil then put in chopped garlic, green onion, pepper, lotus root, beefs and stir, then pour 1 tablespoon of oyster, a little water and spices , pour in 1 spoon of sour taste. At the end, put in cornstarch and mix.
  4. Enjoy with hot white rice.
